Website List Filter Support & FAQ

Use these checks when card selection, filter results, a saved rule, or automatic application does not work as expected. Website List Filter is published and supported by Joji Tools. If the issue remains, complete the inquiry template at the bottom.

Check these items first

No repeated card group is found

Click the outer area of one list card rather than a small label or button. Use the arrow keys to adjust the detected range. Pages without accessible repeated cards or rows may not be supported.

A field is missing or unreadable

Reselect the exact title, price, date, or other field. Confirm that the selected data type matches the visible value. Structurally different sponsored cards may need a separate card type.

The result is not what you expected

Review AND or OR at both the condition and field-group levels. Check the missing-value policy, then preview the rule before saving it.

Automatic application does not run

Confirm that automatic application is enabled and Chrome still allows access to that exact website origin. Manual filtering remains available if access was declined or removed.

Supported content and limits

Website List Filter is designed for regular webpages with repeated cards or rows in accessible light DOM, including product lists, news feeds, community posts, directories, galleries, and blog indexes.

Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, the built-in PDF Viewer, inaccessible cross-origin frames, canvas-only lists, page-owned Shadow DOM, and pages without a repeated structure are not supported. A rule may need repair when a website changes its layout.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to write CSS, selectors, or code?

No. Select a card and a field directly on the page. Technical selectors are generated and managed by the extension.

What values can I filter?

You can use visible text, numbers, prices, ratings, dates, tags, authors, and other selected values. Available comparisons depend on the field’s data type.

Can I combine multiple conditions?

Yes. Combine conditions within a field and combine separate field groups with AND or OR.

Are my filters saved?

Yes. Rules and settings are stored locally in Chrome. You can apply a saved rule manually whenever you return to a matching page.

Is page content sent to a server?

No. Version 1 processes filters in the browser and does not send page content, filter values, or saved rules to a developer or third-party server.

Can I restore the original page?

Yes. Disable the rule or use Restore to remove hiding, highlighting, and sorting changes applied by Website List Filter.

How do I delete saved data?

Open Settings to delete individual rules or remove all locally stored Website List Filter data. There is no external account to delete.
